From Boston to Montreal...the cruise!

We just returned from a wonderful cruise with the group Road Scholar. Not only did we learn about Canada's rich past, but we also saw great fall colors and spectacular scenery. I was so happy to visit Prince Edward Island, Novia Scotia, where the author Lucy Maud Montgomery lived in the early 1900's. We saw the famous "Anne of Green Gables" house and also the home where Lucy Montgomery grew up on the north shores of the island. What amazed me was the numbers of tourists, all "Anne Shirley" fans,  flocking to the site from all over the world.Well, I shouldn't have been surprised...we came all the way from California! Praise the Lord for a safe and rewarding trip!
