Today I saved a...

...big black bumblebee! I discovered it in the bathroom yesterday afternoon, frantically trying to get through the bathroom window. It got so tired that it fell down into the metal groove on the bottom of the window. I tried to fish it out but was afraid to use my finger because I didn’t want to get stung. After several minutes and different strategies, I finally gave up and left it there, feeling bad that I couldn't help it.
This morning, I took a shower in that bathroom which made the window wet and steamy. When I came back a little later, there was the bumblebee, straddling the narrow metal edge of the window sill. I was so happy that it was still alive.
“Stay right there,” I ordered as I ran to get a container. I was able to tap the dazed bee into  the container and then took it outside, glad that it had cooperated with me and that I was able to save it! Hooray!
Can you imagine the great joy in heaven when a person repents of his sins, turns to Christ and is saved?
"Then Jesus told them this parable, 'Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and says, "Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep." I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.' " Luke 15:3-7 NIV :)
