Nate's Grace

An email came from my step-daughter, Shanda, which I wanted to share with you, dear friends. It showed the power of our actions and how our influence often works through the generations... in this case, from Nate's grandma, "Grams," to her 3 1/2  year old grandson  and then back to his parents and little brother.

Nate requested to say "graces" today before dinner. He said that Grams did graces with him. He insisted on saying it himself. Here was his grace:

Okay, we are going to say graces. You have to close your eyes's. Are your eyes's closed? Okay, let's say graces. I love graces. Okay. Thank you for beautiful flowers. Okay. Amen."

Chris (Nate's father) told Nate that that was beautiful and he said, "Thank you, daddy."
It was the sweetest thing ever. :)
