An Answer to Prayer!
Tomorrow is the official date of our book baby's birth! Al, my mom and I are driving to Visalia where we will be able to tour the Josten's plant and see how books are printed and assembled. Then, we will be able to pick up our books and take them home. Hopefully mom (in her 80's) won't have to hold any big boxes on her lap!
My sister-in-law emailed today with congratulations! She wondered if the labor pains hurt much! Actually it hasn't been a painful labor, just a very long one--over a year. Maybe it has been more painful for Al who has had to pay the "baby" bills!
I found a note written in the margin of my Bible this morning from October, 2009. The verse was a wonderful promise from Proverbs:" Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." (Prov. 16:3 NIV) Beside the verse were two words and the date..."Book Pub. 10-09."
It is really amazing to see how this prayer has been so specifically answered. God is faithful!
