Look Who's Getting Ready for Winter!

Caught in the action!

An industrious family of woodpeckers is preparing for winter here in Springville. Every nook and cranny  in the trees, logs and in our utility pole is stuffed with acorns. The funniest thing is to watch what happens when a woodpecker drop an acorn into a hole in one of the new fiberglass (?) poles lining Globe Drive. Clang, clang, clang and down it goes to the very bottom of the pole. How many acorns would it take to fill one of those telephone poles? Hmmm! It's hard to change old habits!
Help us to learn from the woodpeckers, Lord!
