An Absolutely Alligatorish Day!

A fun day! Airboating up various channels into the Everglades...
then a boat cruise out to the Gulf, with dolphins surfing in the wake of the boat,
gator spotting--and holding--and tasting! Alligator meat is pretty good;
but  we didn't eat this little guy (Allie the Alligator).






Al and Allie become friends.

Lots of gators snoozing along the Turner River. The tour guide pulled over along the side
 of the road and we opened the door of the van & took our pictures from a safe zone!
