Onward and Forward!

Day 3:
The main attraction of our third day  in Florida was a visit to the Kennedy Space Center. It was amazing, far beyond my expectations. After buying tickets and walking through the Rocket Garden, which was different than any garden I've ever seen with five or six full scale rockets as landscaping features, we boarded a bus for the Saturn building.
We went by the launching pad where many of the actual rocket launches have taken place. The building was enormous, housing the entire Saturn rocket, lunar rovers, theaters, moon rocks, everything having to do with astronauts and anything you would ever want to see or know about NASA's program (well, almost!)
We saw movies on the moon landing, the launching of a rocket and ended the day with a wonderful 3D movie on the International Space Station. When  the commentator asked, "Are you ready to make your travel plans?" Al turned to me and said, "Alright. I can do that!" Our next trip may be out of this world!
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Psalm 19:1
Signing off for now,
your tired travelers
